Georges never had the time to get to know the Internet, but his curiosity for all things in life would surely have made him an enthusiastic net surfer.

We have tried to gather here as much information as we could on a composer known of course for his musical scores, but whose numerous musical compositions in other genres is generally ignored. Indeed, few composers have expressed themselves, like Georges, in so many different genres, from radio advertising to ballets, from television series to operas.

His exceptional career arose out of an exceptional life. Although he was an ordinary, unassuming man, he was touched by a mysterious spark. He was inhabited by music, for which he lived and breathed. Was it this passion for music that gave him such a zest for life, or was it the other way round? It is impossible to say, for life and music were so totally fused in him. The desire to compose was for him the necessity of life itself.

Georges was a man always marked by humility. But at a time when his musical aesthetic did not correspond to others in vogue, he needed courage and determination to follow his own musical path.

He had enormous creative energy, always intensely concentrated on his art while radiating his joy in life. He was a solitary man who nevertheless loved the company of others for whom he wrote unforgettable melodies.
